About Us

Stranmillis Village is located in South Belfast and runs down the "Stranmillis Road" between the Ulster Museum down to the roundabout at Cutters. It is only a mile away from Belfast city centre but has a village atmosphere with a student buzz and its own shops, restaurants and cafes.

This blog was setup at the end of 2009 to address issues for all people living and working in Stranmillis Village. These concerns include the lack of resident parking, noise, litter, graffiti, over development from property developers / landlords.

This site will try and publish news and information relative to Stranmillis Village.

If you have any news, concerns, views, information, etc please feel free to email the site author at: -

  1. Hi there I am an Australian who has discovered recently that her great grandmother and -father, William and Elizabeth Shortt , lived in 264 Stranmillis Rd till the 1940s. Can anyone tell me if anyone of that family is still there? A long shot, I know....but many thanks if you can reply. Cheers, Elizabeth Porter Canberra
